Home | Middle School
At Gilbert Christian Middle School, our primary goals are to educate and strengthen young believers in their walk with Christ while demonstrating grace and encouragement for those that do profess to be followers of Christ.
Within these basic goals, we believe every student should have challenging opportunities for learning. Each student’s educational needs and learning strengths are identified and addressed by a professional teaching staff within their respective subjects.
Spiritual Growth
From pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, Gilbert Christian Schools (GCS) students learn directly from the Word of God as part of their curriculum.
Small discussion groups, debates, memorization, and chapter-by-chapter studies equip the students to rely on guidance from God’s Word.
Fine Arts
Aside from the core academics, the fine arts are required at all levels. Middle School students can participate in choir and strings.
Community
Giving back to the community is woven into the culture of Gilbert Christian Schools (GCS). From pre-kindergarten to 12th grade, students are encouraged to serve. Some of those service opportunities include:
- Assisted living homes
- Mentoring at-risk students
- Assisting mentally challenged students
- Working with orphanages in Mexico
- Serving at rescue missions
- Serving at soup kitchens
- Assisting in food drives for the less fortunate
- Hoops of Hope (Support African children – Aids-related issues)
- Goats for Ghana (Support feeding less fortunate internationally)
- Positive Impact (Support medical emergencies for the uninsured)
- Smile Train (Support cleft palate surgeries)
